Education 109: Health Education


Offered: Summer, days and time TBA, Student Health Classroom 1

Health Education (Education 109) is a 4 unit class where students debate the question; "What does being healthy mean?" Students learn the basics of college health including mental health, alcohol, drugs, nutrition, exercise, eating disorders, sexual health and stress. The class also teaches communication, how to help a friend and how to be a good listerner. It ends with an introduction to wellness & positive pyschology. The class size is kept small which encourages disucssion and debate. Registration is through Gold.
