Care for Recently Graduated and Separated Students

Skip Navigation LinksHome : Forms and Policies : Care for Recent Separated Students

It is the policy of Student Health to provide care for students on a fee-for-service basis during the quarter following graduation from the University. Separated students (students who leave the University) may be seen for one or two visits only for the purpose of providing transitional care. This service is billed as non-student or student based on time of withdrawal and refund of fees.

Visits for graduated students will be charged non-student fees based on whether the visit is a new problem or a follow up of a problem previously treated at Student Health.

If a student presents for a lab or X-ray (and the request was generated before graduation or separation from the University) the lab or X-ray will be billed at non-student rates. When a student reports to lab or X-ray for fulfillment of a standing order, non-student rates will be charged.

If a student requests refills on a prescription already on file at the pharmacy, non-student rates will be charged.
